About the Founder
AcademiaDBA was founded by Sandro Servino, MSc, a Senior Database Administrator and Instructor with more than 30 years of experience in Information Technology and nearly three decades working with database technologies.
Since 1996, Sandro has worked extensively with database platforms and enterprise data infrastructure, developing deep expertise in the administration, performance optimization, troubleshooting, availability, and reliability of critical database environments.
Throughout his career, he has worked in several technical, management, and educational roles, including:

Alongside his professional career, Sandro has trained more than 20,000 students in database and data technologies, helping professionals develop practical skills for real-world environments and supporting their growth into DBAs, data specialists, and technology professionals.
